1. Introduction & Acceptance
This document establishes the official terms governing MediFleet's medical courier operations. These service agreements ensure the professional, safe, and compliant handling of all clinical materials across the UK health network. By requesting a delivery, you acknowledge and accept these operational standards. Engaging MediFleet as your logistics partner constitutes formal acceptance of these Service Agreements in their entirety. These terms govern the professional relationship between MediFleet Ltd and the Client.
2. Client Obligations
Compliant Packaging: Clients must ensure all medical samples or pharmaceuticals are packaged in accordance with UK health regulations and GDP standards. Items must be leak-proof and securely sealed before collection.
Accurate Documentation: Each shipment must include accurate consignment notes. Laboratories are responsible for providing clear delivery addresses, recipient details, and handling instructions.
Dispatch Readiness: Consignments must be ready for collection at the agreed time. Delays at the collection point impact critical delivery schedules and may incur additional waiting charges.
3. Service Standards & Service Levels
MediFleet operates to strict UK clinical logistics standards. We guarantee 100% compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for all medical consignments. Our service levels ensure dedicated point-to-point transport for urgent pathology samples, pharmaceuticals, and sensitive clinical records, maintaining full chain-of-custody and temperature integrity throughout the transit process.
4. Fees, Invoicing & Payment Terms
Our standard rates are mileage-based to ensure fair pricing for all UK health providers. MediFleet operates on a strict 30-day invoicing cycle. Late payments are subject to statutory interest charges as per UK commercial law. Clients will receive detailed digital invoices for all completed clinical dispatches.
5. Liability & Limitations
MediFleet maintains comprehensive transit insurance for all medical goods. Our liability is strictly limited to the direct replacement cost of the physical items transported or the cost of re-delivery. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of clinical data, research value, or patient treatment delays, provided agreed clinical handling protocols have been maintained. High-value clinical materials must be declared prior to booking.
6. Cancellations & Termination
Bookings cancelled with less than 2 hours' notice incur a 50% service charge. Routine contract terminations require 30 days' written notice from either party. MediFleet reserves the right to suspend clinical dispatches immediately for non-payment or safety breaches.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed exclusively by the laws of England & Wales. Both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts for the resolution of any legal proceedings.
